Carol’s Voice is a health support services organization, specifically related to heart disease and the symptoms of heart disease.  Carol’s Voice differs from all other heart related organizations in that its mission is to educate and bring public awareness to a silent symptom of heart disease that is rarely talked about or even heard of.   This symptom is called Cardiac Syncope.

I have been asked...

A friend of mine from high school has asked me if I would like to donate some of my pictures for a cause so they may sell them as note cards and make money for the cause.  It is for carolsvoice.org which is a charity for people with a certain kind of heart disease.  I was just thinking the other day that it would be great to be able to use my photos to help people, but I wasn't sure how.  God must have been listening to me think and opened the door for me.  I will let you know more later when I know more.

Hello all,
Well we are in February already!  I've been away for a few days, but thought I'd better get back into the grove of this.  I bought a book on Exposure for photography.  I need to really understand all of this and not just point and shoot (that is if I want to get any better at taking pictures.)  I have found the important Trio:  ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed.  Now I need to apply this when taking a photo.  I must do more reading so for now I must go.  Enjoy the page if you arrive here and I hope to have more knowledge next time!

What do you think?

Ok, so the conversation on WHO radio was regarding whether to cut funding for a preschool or not?  If they did cut the funding then parents would have to pay for their child to go and the cost would be per their income.  Do you think they should cut funding here?  We discussed a little at work and a comment was made, "they pay for my child to go to school, if they didn't it would cost me $?????? each month for him to go."  Do we not feel that we are responsible for our lives?  I pay for my child to go to private school and do not get help from the Government.  I pay for clothing and school supplies.  The host said that if there are people who cannot afford to pay for their child to go to school, why are they having children?  I can understand help for special needs children as there are many costs involved that are above and beyond.   My question is, the person that feels the government owes them or should pay for their child, then w?  Why do they feel that way?  How did they come to this conclusion.
